Cherrypal is coming!

It is official guys, the new and improved cherrypal is ready to go. All the kinks have been worked out and the 2 watt computer will ship to anyone who orders it starting Nov 4th! "now a totally new number, the 114 due to increased capabilities. It is out Nov. 4.

The new website is up and taking advance orders.
Other projects are in the works as well. Just as exciting and green as CherryPal."

Cherrypals in "about two weeks"

So here you go "We expect to start shipping the C100 in about 2 weeks, early October. The delay was caused by a software bug in the graphics core of the processor. It is fixed now." So ill let you know when I get more information

Christina Siadat, a Cherrypal Brand Angel Manager said today that the cherrypals will be out in "an estimated time frame, I'd say a month. This has been a long process for everyone, you all and employees alike. We do not have the CherryPals in the office yet, so we are just as anxiously anticipating them. We will try to post weekly updates for you all." So thats the newest update on the Cherrypals. When there is more news I'll post it, keep checking back!

On the status of the Cherrypals, sorry to get everyone hyped up. But Cherrypal has yet to update the status of when the Cherrypals will ship out. *fingers crossed* hopefully its soon. But keep checking back and once i hear whats up I will relay to you guys! Peace

Cherrypals have been delayed :(

I just got this email from Cherrypal.
"The question of shipping has come up and we are contacting all of
the Brand Angels about this matter. We were set to start shipping
August 4th but there have been a few more delays. The unit was
ultimately done in July but we decided to upgrade the solid state
storage to a faster, higher quality version than what we were
using before. The hardware is working perfectly however the
software didn't respond to the upgrade as well as we would have
liked. There are a few tweaks we need to make in order to fully
optimize the OS to the new hardware. Since we are making software
changes instead of hardware changes, hopefully the delay
shouldn't be too long. To be honest, we don't have a specific
date and I don't want to just say, "Another few weeks." I can say
that it will be at least two weeks and probably more. I'm sorry
that you have to wait even longer for shipment especially after
previous delays. It is important to us not to cut any corners at
the last minute - a few weeks delay here is a small sacrifice in
the larger picture.

A little update on the Brand Angel Program - we have received 110
agreements and are still expecting more. The Ning page looks
awesome; we didn't know how well it would work out when we set it
up. Preordering is closed for now. If you used the promo code
before preordering went down, all of those orders went through
but until we bring back the order page, people will not be able
to use your promo codes. We're posting a note about all of this
on our website, people who preordered "

So basically you will not be able to preorder a Cherrypal until they fix the problem with the updated hardware/software. In the mean time keep checking in to get updates on the status of when the computers will be done and shipped out!

CherryPal Software
CherryPal’s operating system is based on a version of open source Debian/GNU Linux that has been highly customized; the browser is based on a version of open source Firefox. The CherryPal’s browser supports all major browser plug-ins including Adobe Flash 9.
